Welding Equipment
Angle Grinder
A handheld power tool with a rotating abrasive disc, for cutting, grinding and weld preparation.

Welding Equipment
A power source for stick (SMAW) welding, delivering a controlled current through a coated electrode held by hand.
A manual welding machine is the power source for shielded metal arc welding: it supplies a regulated current to a hand-held, flux-coated electrode, which both forms the arc and supplies the filler metal as it melts. It remains the most portable and weather-tolerant welding process available, the flux coating shields the weld without any external gas to blow away in wind, which is why it is still standard for outdoor structural and hull repair work a shipyard cannot always move indoors. Electrode type is selected for the base metal and joint position being welded, and switching electrodes is the only change needed to move between structural steel, stainless and other materials on the same machine.
Full specifications, material grades and dimensions are confirmed per enquiry. Tell us the vessel and the duty, and we will send the datasheet.

Welding Equipment
An arc welding process that shields the weld pool with an externally supplied gas instead of a flux coating.

Welding Equipment
An automatic welding machine that runs the submerged arc process, burying the arc under a bed of granular flux.

Welding Equipment
A motorised carriage that carries a submerged arc welding head at a steady speed along a seam.
