Overview

Marine bathroom equipment covers the sanitary fixtures fitted in crew and passenger accommodation: basins, toilets, showers and their associated fittings, built in materials and mountings suited to a vessel rather than a building. Fixtures are typically stainless steel or marine-grade composite rather than ceramic, both lighter and more resistant to the vibration and motion a vessel experiences at sea. Waste connections tie into the vessel's own sewage system, so fitting selection accounts for that system's layout as much as the fixture itself.
