Shipyard Equipment
CNC Cutting Machine
A computer-controlled cutting machine that follows a programmed path to cut steel plate for hull and structural parts.

Shipyard Equipment
A machine that cuts steel plate along a straight line by shearing between two blades under mechanical or hydraulic force.
A shearing machine cuts plate along a straight line by closing an upper blade past a fixed lower blade, the way scissors cut paper but scaled and forced to cut steel, a cold-cutting process, with no heat-affected zone the way flame or plasma cutting leaves along the edge. Its practical limit is plate thickness against machine tonnage: within that limit it is faster and cleaner than thermal cutting for straight cuts, which is why it is the standard tool for trimming stock plate to size before profile cutting or forming. Blade clearance is set to the plate thickness being cut, since a gap that is too wide drags rather than shears and leaves a torn, not cut, edge.
Full specifications, material grades and dimensions are confirmed per enquiry. Tell us the vessel and the duty, and we will send the datasheet.
